The Shadowlily Guild

Table of Contents

Overview
#

Shadowlily is not a grand institution. It is a basement in Stormwind with a moldy ceiling, twelve copper in the jar, and a charter signed by women who have died twice, been erased, or survived soul-forges. It is a shelter for displaced and cursed girls, founded on the conviction that even in poisoned soil, something beautiful can grow.

The guild operates as a front for the Gilded Décolletage Co., a trading collective that funds the shelter’s mission. While the world sees a high-end merchant network, the girls inside know it as the first place that didn’t ask them to apologize for their existence.

The Charter
#

“Named after flowers that grow in fel-corrupted soil. Nothing should survive there. They bloomed anyway.” — Giselleese

The Shadowlily charter is a promise: no girl grows up believing “cursed” means “disposable” or “alone.” It is a commitment to stay when the world burns, and to build when everything has been taken.

The Assembled Members
#

The guild is anchored by five women, each carrying a history of catastrophe and a commitment to the present.

Giselleese: The Founder
#

A Worgen Death Knight who has died twice and refuses to stop building. She is the anchor, the one who stays when the light goes out. She founded Shadowlily on twelve copper and a memory of white flowers in Shadowmoon Valley.

Yreneese: The Unforgotten Sister
#

A Night Elf Demon Hunter who was erased from her sister’s memory for ten thousand years. She is the precision and the rage, finding a place where she is finally seen.

Ninyreese: The Peace That Survived
#

(Formerly Kiyareese). A Lightforged Draenei carrying a Zandalari soul-history. She is the guild’s weapons engineer and economic intelligence operative, building the infrastructure that keeps the shelter running.

Shiyaorieese: The Broken Place
#

A Nightborne Rogue who spent ten thousand years being invisible. She is the guild’s room-reader and room-fixer, learning that the broken place is where light enters.

Hiyorieese: The Garden She Keeps
#

A Haranir Warlock and former grove tender. She tends the guild’s members with the same patient, dangerous attention she once gave roots. She ensures the garden grows, even if her methods are darker than the elders would approve.

Core Chronicles
#

The history of the guild is written in the lives of those who inhabit it.

Values
#

  1. Presence: Someone has to stay.
  2. Precision: The work must be true, even if the worker is broken.
  3. Redemption: Not as a gift, but as an engineered outcome.
  4. Zandalar Forever: The reminder that where we come from matters, even when where we are has changed.
