reyneese.com is a personal WoW fiction blog. This policy explains what data is collected when you visit, and how third-party services used by this site handle your information.
Last updated: October 25, 2026
What We Collect Directly #
reyneese.com does not operate accounts, comment systems, or contact forms. We do not collect, store, or process personal data directly.
Third-Party Services #
Google Analytics #
This site uses Google Analytics (tracking ID: G-0YC6H1CZ2Y) to understand how content is being read — which stories are popular, where readers come from, and how long people stay. Google Analytics collects anonymised data including:
- Pages visited and time on page
- Browser type, operating system, screen size
- General geographic region (country/city level)
- Referral source (how you found the site)
Google Analytics does not receive your name, email address, or any information that identifies you personally. Data is processed under Google’s Privacy Policy.
To opt out: Install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or use a browser extension that blocks analytics tracking.
Google AdSense (Site-Wide) #
This site displays advertisements served by Google AdSense across Stories, Cards, Collections, and the Gold Lab section (/gold/). AdSense uses cookies to show relevant ads based on your browsing history across the web. This is standard interest-based advertising.
Google Consent Mode v2 (EU/UK/Switzerland) #
If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, this site uses Google Consent Mode v2. All measurement and advertising cookies (analytics and ads) default to denied until you explicitly consent through the on-site cookie banner. Your choice is stored locally in your browser and can be changed at any time.
Cookie Preferences #
You can revisit or change your cookie choices anytime using the Cookie Preferences control in the site footer. Choosing “Essential only” — or turning off ad personalization in the Customize panel — enables non-personalized ads only.
To opt out of personalised ads entirely: Visit Google’s Ad Settings or enable “Do Not Track” in your browser.
Cloudflare Pages #
This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes basic request data (IP address, request headers) to deliver pages and protect against malicious traffic. This is standard hosting infrastructure. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy for details.
Ko-fi #
Support links and the donation widget on this site connect to Ko-fi (ko-fi.com/reyneese). If you click through and make a donation or purchase, Ko-fi handles all payment processing and associated data. reyneese.com does not receive or store your payment information.
See Ko-fi’s Privacy Policy for how they handle supporter data.
External Links #
This site links to Wowhead, Wowpedia, Blizzard Entertainment, and other third-party sites. Following those links is subject to their own privacy policies. We have no control over and no responsibility for external sites.
Cookies #
reyneese.com sets no tracking first-party cookies. The only first-party storage used is a single local entry (reyneese_cookie_consent) that remembers your cookie choices — it stores nothing beyond your analytics/ads consent flags and is never transmitted anywhere. Third-party cookies set by Google Analytics and Google AdSense follow the consent choices you make through the Cookie Preferences control in the footer, or can be managed through your browser settings.
Children’s Privacy #
This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Your Rights #
Depending on your location, you may have rights under GDPR (EU/UK), CCPA (California), or similar legislation, including the right to access, delete, or port your personal data. Because we do not collect personal data directly, most requests would need to be directed to the relevant third-party services listed above.
For any privacy question or concern, contact us via Bluesky @reyneese.com or Ko-fi message at ko-fi.com/reyneese.
Changes to This Policy #
We may update this policy from time to time. The Last updated date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
