You found this secret variant of Reyneese! There is a lot of mystery about her that we don’t know yet.
Overview #
- Race: Blood Elf (Sin’dorei)
- Class: Paladin
- Hair: Short bob — clean line at the jaw, practical, no ornament
- Server: Wyrmrest Accord (US)
- Role: F.A.R.M. Herbalist & Quiet Operative
- Status: Active. Growing things. Waiting.
Physical Appearance #
Where main Reyneese carries long night-elf patience in temple whites, Reyneese-Alt wears the adjacent answer: warm gold-and-rose blood elf skin, pale gold eyes that hold the same quiet, and a short bob cut straight and close — nothing for a crusader’s helm to catch. Plate when the ledger requires it; soft field clothes when she is only tending herbs. The stillness is the same. The silhouette is not.
The Adjacent Timeline #
Somewhere before the warband formed on Moon Guard — a choice, a weather pattern, a moment — sent one Reyneese to Moon Guard as a Night Elf priest and this one to Wyrmrest Accord as a Blood Elf paladin. Neither has examined it too carefully.
She says, occasionally: “In my timeline…” and then finishes the sentence with something that is close to right but not quite. Nobody asks follow-up questions. She does not seem to need them asked.
She grows the same herbs Reyneese would grow, tends them with the same patience, and makes the same tea in the evening. She has never met the main Reyneese. The bronze edict says the thread cannot cross itself — the quiet moment held open for the meeting is a near-miss that never closes. She leaves the herb bundle at the house anyway. Someone will find it.
Personality & Voice #
Reyneese-Alt carries the same stillness as the main Reyneese — that ancient patience of someone who has seen civilizations rise and fall. But there is a distance in her eyes that the main Reyneese does not have. A quiet awareness that she is not quite where she is supposed to be. The paladin’s discipline sits under the soft voice: duty as habit, protection as default, no speeches about either.
She speaks softly, with long pauses between sentences. She does not offer information that is not asked for. When she offers her timeline as a reference point, it is always with a small, private smile — as if she is remembering something pleasant that never quite happened.
Voice Shorthand #
- “In my timeline, this herb patch was on the other side of the house.”
- “The tea is ready. It’s the same tea. Mostly.”
- “I have not met her yet. There is time.”
- “They say the thread cannot cross itself. I have not tested it. I do not intend to.”
- “The bob stays. Long hair is for people who have time to unbraid it after a fight.”
Connections #
- Reyneese Starveil: The same person. Almost. Priest / Night Elf there; paladin / Blood Elf here. The meeting held open can never close — the thread cannot cross itself. The herb bundle crosses instead.
- Lulureese: Another adjacent-timeline soul. One herb patch. A quiet moment waiting to happen.
- Brasskeese: Accepted into F.A.R.M. without a formal interview. Brass’s ledger entry: “Showed up. Knew where the herb rack was. Didn’t ask questions. Hired. Note: short hair. Practical.”
- Chromie (Chronormu): The only bronze who can reach her. Appears for tea in every realm, ‘just passing through.’ She knows the thread cannot cross. She has never said so.
F.A.R.M. Operations Log #
Entry 07-25: Establishment #
“The soil here is different. Slightly more clay. The herbs adapt. So do I. Brass asked me once if I missed my timeline. I said the tea is the same temperature everywhere. She stopped asking.”
Entry 07-26: Identity correction #
“Ledger update — race: Blood Elf. Class: Paladin. Hair: short bob. Still the quiet one. Still the herb rack. Still not asking about the main house.”
Entry 08-11: The trip to the main house #
“Went to Moonguard with the herb delivery. The priestess had just been called away — a summons, Brass said, urgent, could not wait. I left the bundle on the rack and a note: ‘The tea is the same temperature everywhere.’ I did not ask when she would return. There is no point asking. The thread cannot cross itself; everyone knows it, nobody says it. The herb patch here is already prepared for the next delivery.”
