Freyneese kneels with military precision. Her lavender-tinted bob catches the sunset rim glow, while her round wire-frame spectacles reflect the soft blue radiance of an hovering arcane holographic interface. Beside her, a rugged leather rucksack overflows with measured samples, calibrated pruning shears, and herbal drying vials.
“Node integrity: one hundred percent,” she whispers into her collar comm, adjusting her glasses with the tip of a leather-gloved finger. “Root structure pristine. Secondary extraction window closing in three minutes before nocturnal dew alters sap density.”
