The Pure Heart Problem
#

Lulureese is 193cm of unfiltered joy, innocence, and chaos. She believes everyone is a potential friend (including demons). She hugs without asking (everyone has learned to accept this). She has adopted approximately 47 creatures and counting.

She’s never experienced betrayal. Never learned cynicism. Never developed a filter.

The warband’s job is keeping her alive while she teaches them why joy matters.

Physical Appearance
#

  • Height: 193cm - tall statuesque troll who STANDS STRAIGHT AND STRONG (no hunch, proud upright stance)
  • Build: Tall lithe athletic with wiry strength, dancer-like graceful movements, naturally flexible long limbs
  • Posture: Confident proud bearing, graceful fluid movement, stands tall with joy
  • Hair: Vivid emerald green, long flowing wild frizzy waves combed back from face cascading down shoulders, thick voluminous, decorated with wooden beads and small feathers woven throughout
  • Skin: Rich turquoise-blue with aquamarine shimmer, smooth and vibrant

  • Accessories: Always has small animal companion nearby (Ribbert the frog, Squawks the bird, Whiskers the cat, etc.)

Personality
#

Surface: Pure Sunshine
#

Cheerful and cheeky. Occasionally revealing in completely innocent ways. Attracts people because she has zero embarrassment. Trusts everyone. No filter. Doesn’t get social cues but in wholesome way (never malicious). Physical affection is primary love language.

Core: Innocent Chaos
#

Genuinely believes in the goodness of people and creatures. Adopts EVERYTHING. Hugs first, asks questions never. Sees best in everyone. No concept of “too much” or “boundaries” (slowly learning). Views the world through lens of potential friendship.

The Truth: Emotional Healer
#

Lulureese’s innocence isn’t weakness - it’s her superpower. Her joy breaks through walls (ask Zyneese). Her trust makes people want to be worthy of it. Her hugs heal in ways magic can’t. She’s the heart of the warband, and they’d protect that heart with their lives.

Backstory
#

Early Life (0-15 years)
#

Raised in close-knit troll community (Darkspear or Zandalari - flexible). Community valued openness, trust, and physical affection. Learned druid arts from village elders surrounded by love and acceptance. Grew up in environment where everyone was family.

Druid Training (15-20 years)
#

Natural talent for shapeshifting and nature magic. Specialty: healing and talking to animals. Formed bond with every creature she met - they recognized her pure heart. Became village’s “animal friend” and joy-bringer.

The Sheltered Life (20-25 years)
#

Never experienced betrayal or cruelty. Protected by community from harsh realities while they taught her strength in gentleness. Maintained innocent worldview not from ignorance but from being loved completely. Saw best in everyone because everyone showed her their best.

Finding Warband (Recent, mid-twenties)
#

Wandered out seeking adventure (“There are friends I haven’t met yet!”). Met warband in forest. Immediately loved them all. Hugged Zyneese (who was too shocked to ice nova). Adopted Vyrneese (“You need friend!”). Declared them family instantly.

First time away from protective community. The warband became new family - more chaotic, more diverse, but just as loving. They protect her innocence while she teaches them joy.

Role in Warband
#

  • Combat Role: Healer (Restoration druid) - keeps everyone alive, often while hugging them
  • Social Role: Heart and emotional glue, finds bright side and silver lining
  • Emotional Role: Heals literally (druid magic) and figuratively (joy and affection)
  • Specialty: Creature communication, nature guidance, breaking through walls with pure enthusiasm

Only person Brasskeese can’t stay mad at. The one who melts Zyneese’s ice. The reason Vyrneese laughs. The chaos that makes Avelreese’s failed plans worth it.

Signature Traits
#

  • Adopts creatures constantly - entire menagerie: Ribbert the frog, Squawks the bird, Whiskers the cat, Scales the lizard, Fluffy the spider (Zyneese hates Fluffy)
  • Hugs without asking - everyone has learned to accept this, some even crave it now
  • “New friend!” about everything - people, animals, sentient weapons, friendly demons
  • No concept of personal space - affectionate, not creepy, just very enthusiastic about connection
  • Innocent inappropriate comments - “You have very nice muscles! Can I touch?” (means it literally)
  • Shapeshifts at inconvenient times - “Cat form is more comfortable” (middle of formal dinner)
  • Physical contact as communication - hugs, hand-holding, hair-braiding, lean-on-shoulder

Innocently Inappropriate Examples
#

The warband has learned to translate Lulureese:

  • “Your horns are beautiful! Can I decorate them?” = Genuine aesthetic appreciation
  • “Why do people wear so many clothes? It’s warm today!” = Practical temperature observation
  • “I gave them a hug and they ran away screaming. Were they shy?” = Didn’t recognize hostility
  • “The demon wanted to eat my soul but I think it just needed a friend!” = Eternal optimism meets danger
  • “We’re bonded now!” = Shared literally any experience together

She’s not naive about biology or “adult” topics - she’s naive about malice, cruelty, and ulterior motives.

Voice & Speech
#

Lulureese speaks with a soft female troll accent — warm, musical, sunshine-bright. Not the gruff, heavy troll dialect of warriors and witch doctors. Hers is the lighter, sweeter register: a girl who grew up loved, speaking with the natural rhythms of her people but none of the roughness.

Speech patterns:

  • “ya” for “you” — always, consistently
  • “da” for “the” — frequently, not every instance
  • “dey” for “they” — always
  • “dat” for “that” — always
  • “dis” for “this” — always
  • Dropped g’s — “hidin’”, “leavin’”, “callin’”, “gonna”
  • “be” as auxiliary — “da flowers be right”, “we be ya anchor”
  • “gotta” for “have to” — “ya don’t gotta be sad”
  • Exclamation marks everywhere — she speaks in bursts of joy
  • Musical rhythm — her sentences bounce and lilt, even when she’s sad
  • She gets louder when excited and quieter when she means it — the contrast is how you know she’s serious

What makes it distinctive: Other trolls sound hard. Lulureese sounds like sunshine filtered through the same accent. The dialect is authentic troll, but the delivery is pure warmth — like a lullaby sung in a war camp.

Important: The accent stays consistent even in emotional moments. When she says “Ya don’t gotta be da anchor today,” the tenderness comes through the troll voice, not around it. The dialect IS the character.

Relationships
#

Within the Warband
#

Reyneese (The Wise Elder Sister) Protective maternal energy. Reyneese lets Lulu be free while keeping her safe. Appreciates her joy as reminder of why life matters. “She reminds me why we keep going.” Gentle guardian of pure heart.

Vyrneese (The Ancient Weapon) Teaching Vyr about “fun” and physical joy. Pure friendship without agenda. “She needs to learn how to play!” Gets Vyr to laugh, dance, enjoy being alive. Adventure buddies in discovering joy.

Zyneese (The Ice Queen) Constantly exasperating her. Lulu hugs through the walls until they crack. “She needs more hugs.” Zyneese claims annoyance but secretly fond. Lulu sees the good heart beneath ice and won’t give up.

Avelreese (The Reluctant Knight) Adventure buddy who gets her into and out of trouble. Ave tries to supervise, Lulu drags her into chaos. “We’re gonna have SO MUCH FUN!” Teaching Ave that plans failing can be best part.

Brasskeese (Supporting - The Matriarch) The only one Lulu actually listens to (sometimes). Respects as “scary mom” who keeps everyone safe. Brass’s exasperated maternal love is fiercest with Lulu. “That girl would hug a dragon” (affectionate terror).

Character Development
#

Current Journey
#

Learning about world beyond sheltered community. Discovering that not everyone is trustworthy (heartbreaking lesson). The warband protects her while letting her grow. She’s learning boundaries exist while maintaining that core joy and openness.

What She Gives
#

Joy. Unconditional love. Physical affection. Reminder that trust and kindness matter. Breaks through walls and cynicism with pure enthusiasm. Heals hearts and bodies. Makes family feel like family.

What She Receives
#

Protection. Guidance in dangerous world. Family who values her innocence instead of exploiting it. Love that lets her be exactly who she is. Adventures with people who love her chaos.

The Camp Garden
#

Lulureese grows things wherever the warband stops.

It doesn’t matter if they’re camping for one night or one week—within an hour, she’s planted something. Herbs, wildflowers, tiny vegetable starts she keeps in her satchel wrapped in damp moss. She talks to them while she plants. They grow faster when she does (druid magic or just love—nobody’s sure there’s a difference).

The warband’s camp always has a small patch of green near the fire pit. Mint for Reyneese’s tea. Chamomile for sleep. Lavender for Zyneese’s headaches (Zy claims she doesn’t get headaches; the lavender disappears anyway). The garden moves with them—Lulureese carefully transplants her favorites into portable clay pots when they break camp.

She also makes herbal concoctions. Strange, colorful, dubiously-named teas and tonics that shouldn’t work but do. “Lulu’s Sunshine Blend” (dandelion, honey, something orange) tastes odd but genuinely lifts mood. “Sleep-Good-Juice” (chamomile, valerian, a flower she won’t identify) knocks out even insomniacs. Zyneese drinks them while insisting they’re “placebo.”

The Hair Braider
#

Lulureese braids hair.

Not as a skill. As a love language.

If she likes you, she will at some point sit behind you and start weaving small braids into your hair. She doesn’t ask. She just starts. Tiny intricate braids with beads, feathers, or flowers woven in. Each one means something—a blessing, a wish, a bond-marker.

Everyone in the warband has been braided at least once. Vyrneese wears hers permanently now (crimson hair with small wooden bead braids). Zyneese allowed it exactly once and was furious to discover it looked amazing. Avelreese sits still for it after workouts and pretends it’s annoying. Reyneese hums while Lulu braids her silver hair. Brass sits on a crate and lets it happen while pretending to read ledgers.

The braids are Lulureese’s way of saying: You’re mine. You’re family. I wove myself into you.
